Update 0.4.3: Upgrade System!
## Upgrade System
Players have pointed out that the progression of randomly rolling items doesn't feel good and lacks a sense of progression. So, we have added this upgrade system to resolve this.
- New bench: Upgrade Station
- Added a couple of Upgrade Stations around Boia
- Talk to Zach at the archaeologist camp to learn about upgrading
### Changes
- Visuals:
- Added visuals for each of the Connelly Bandit enemies and their bounties
- Added unique visuals for So Flailing Mad
- Added visuals for Cleavers
- Added visuals for Connelly Boss weapon drops
- Item quantity is now shown in the tooltip
- Polymer:
- Added polymer as a Cyborg drop
- Added a new item/recipe: Solvent
- Added a new item: Bonemeal
- Added a new polymer recipe for Bonemeal + Solvent
- Added Resin to Joshua Trees
- Added polymer to garbage nodes
- Added scrap metal and polymer to Rat People
- Reduced amount of resin to craft Glue to 2 (was 3)
- Reduced Capacitor recipe copper ingot input to 1 (was 2)
- Doubled the arrow output (and shaft/feather input) of Fletching Bench arrow recipes
- Bullet recipes now only require 1 Charcoal Powder as input (was 2)
- House of Bones:
- Reduced cost to spawn Famine
- VIP Guest Achievement now maintains your highest score
- Increased wave spawns by 1
- Increased points earned on kill for each enemy type
- Teleports:
- Reduces translation cell cost of all Boia teleports to 1
- Added a Juniper teleport (still requires quest points to use)
- Garbage nodes now spawn in groups and deplete completely. Reduced depletion rate to 1/8
- Added a header to crafting menus
- Adjusted tinkering bench interaction positioning
- Improved login error feedback
- Spore Zombie bounty now requires you to have at least begun the Silver Veil quest
- Journal exp/level now updates while open
- You can now press the number keys to select dialogue options
- Added a sardine bounty to frontier
- Added sunflower seeds to Bandit Guards, Farmers, and for growing Sunflowers
- Chat whisper QoL:
- Press 'ctrl+enter' to whisper last person that whispered you
- Press 'ctrl+up/down' to navigate whisper history
### Fixes
- Fixed various issues with the ponytail hair sprites
- Reset invalid char names (non-english letters because our pixel font doesn't support it). Only a few players were affected
- Fixed social menu tabs not showing panels properly
- Fixed "Show Craftable Only" toggle not working properly with input item types (like casts)
- Fixed Boia stall protective enemies not aggroing properly
- Fixed Amanita gathering from Mushroom nodes not counting toward the Amanita bounty
- Fixed the achievement Claim button not updating properly after server confirmation
- Fixed enemies could get stuck behind torch/plot in Salado
- Tried to fix the blue void bug again
- Fixed Connelly bandit robbery bounty name
- Fixed tooltip for Soak status
- Fixed walkable shadow tiles behind boats in frontier
- Fixed Connelly boss aggro reset if you go to the opposite end of the room
- Android: Fixed clicking thru UI
### Website
- We have added a login mechanism through our website. It's pretty barebones at the moment, but we will work on adding more features there, other than just account settings
